When things go our way, we may feel like jumping for joy. And maybe you do. When things don’t go our way, it can be heart wrenching, devastating.
We’ve all experienced what it feels like to be on either side of the fence. Gloating does not serve us well. Nor does lashing out. It’s important to acknowledge what has happened, think about how best to deal with it, and accept that not everyone feels the same.
We each have our way of finding our balance so that we can move forward, one step at a time. It may feel overwhelming at the moment, but… slow and steady wins the race. Patience and kindness are key. Thinking about others’ perspectives is vital.
Facing change will always be with us. How we deal with it is what counts most.
